We are expecting to consult residents of Orwell throughout the process of formulating the neighbourhood plan. It is important that the document we produce reflects, as far as possible, the needs and aspirations of the people who live here. We will use a variety of engagement methods and we will be grateful to you for your input.
Please take the opportunity to feedback to the Steering Committee on our work to date and issues that you feel are important to you in our village and which you would like us to take into account in the final draft of our neighbourhood plan. You should receive a copy of the newsletter through your letter box, but if you have not received it you can download a copy here.
Our first consultation with village residents was undertaken in July of 2022. The response we received was encouraging and the results very useful.
Many thanks to those of you who completed our survey. We have collated the responses and we are analysing them as a starting point for the development of the plan. The results have been very interesting and will provide us with much material to distil into the key points in the plan.
There will be further consultation in due course as your input is essential to the outcome and we will keep you informed of progress through this web site. Please feel free to offer any comments or suggestions.
